  • Salary: Unqualified Lecturer: £29,294 per year
  • Qualified Lecturer: £29,294 - £40,814 per year (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)
  • Contract Type: Full Time – 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver practical and theory-based lessons across Multi Skills and Construction programmes (Entry Level to Level 2/3)
  • Teach a range of core trade skills such as carpentry, bricklaying, plastering, painting & decorating, and basic plumbing
  • Prepare learners for progression into apprenticeships, further study, or employment within the construction sector
  • Create safe, engaging workshop environments that reflect real industry standards
  • Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support achievement
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and professionalism

What You’ll Bring

  • Industry experience across multiple construction trades
  • A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant construction discipline
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry practices, tools, and health & safety standards
  • Experience training, mentoring, or supervising apprentices or colleagues (preferred)
  • A passion for developing practical skills in young people and adult learners
  • A teaching qualification is welcomed — if you don’t yet have one, we will fully support you to achieve it while you work
