At IRIS Software Group, we create software that helps businesses manage critical processes including payroll, HR, finance and compliance. We’re looking for an Implementation Consultant with hands-on payroll experience to help customers successfully implement our SaaS solutions. Payroll knowledge is essential for this role. You might have gained this through payroll processing, payroll software, payroll systems or payroll implementation. Alongside this, you’ll have experience implementing, configuring or supporting software and be comfortable working directly with customers.
You’ll take customers from understanding their requirements through to configuration, data migration, testing, training and go-live. It’s a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll solve problems, manage multiple pieces of work and build deeper expertise in payroll technology.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage payroll software implementations for new and existing customers
- Understand customers’ payroll processes and requirements and translate these into the right software setup
- Configure SaaS products, workflows and customer-specific requirements
- Support payroll data migration, integrations and testing
- Work with APIs, ETL processes and data transformation where required
- Guide customers through user acceptance testing and readiness for go-live
- Deliver training and explain software clearly to customers
- Support customers during go-live and their transition into ongoing support
- Manage multiple customer projects and priorities at the same time
- Work with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to resolve issues and deliver successful outcomes
- Keep customers informed about progress, timelines, risks and issues
- Travel to customer sites when required.
What Are We Looking For?
- Hands-on payroll experience and a good understanding of payroll processes – essential
- Experience in SaaS/software implementation, onboarding or technical consulting
- Experience working directly with customers to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Experience with payroll software or systems
- Understanding of software configuration, workflows and integrations
- Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration or data transformation
- Confidence managing several customers, projects or priorities
- The ability to explain software and technical information in simple terms
- Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence or similar tools would be useful
You may currently be an Implementation Consultant, Payroll Implementation Consultant, Payroll Systems Consultant, Payroll Consultant, SaaS Consultant or Technical Consultant. You don’t need to know IRIS products already. This role is suited to someone with relevant hands-on experience who wants to develop deeper payroll, product and technical expertise.
