Overview

We are looking for a New Business & Marketing Manager to help drive the agency’s growth in London through proactive new business activity, marketing initiatives, and brand positioning playing a key role in supporting Iris’ growth strategy by identifying new opportunities, managing pitch processes, and driving marketing initiatives that raise the agency’s profile.

Responsibilities

  • New Business & Growth
    • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across key sectors with their director.
    • Manage the end-to-end pitch process, including research, coordination, timelines, and submission.
    • Work closely with pitch teams to create pitch theatre.
    • Maintain and develop relationships with pitch consultants, procurement teams, and prospective clients.
    • Track pipeline opportunities and report on new business performance.
  • Marketing & Agency Profile
    • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that promote the agency’s work and culture.
    • Manage case studies, thought leadership, and award submissions.
    • Oversee agency communications including newsletters, website updates, and social channels.
    • Support PR initiatives and collaborate with external PR partners.
    • Help position Iris as a leader in integrated creativity and participation-led marketing.
  • Content & Brand Storytelling
    • Work with strategy and creative teams to turn agency work into compelling stories.
    • Create and distribute marketing materials, credentials, and pitch decks.
    • Ensure the agency brand and messaging remain consistent across all touch points.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in agency new business, marketing, or business development.
  • Experience working within creative, integrated, or digital agencies.
  • Strong pitch management and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and writing abilities.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
