Overview
We are looking for a New Business & Marketing Manager to help drive the agency’s growth in London through proactive new business activity, marketing initiatives, and brand positioning playing a key role in supporting Iris’ growth strategy by identifying new opportunities, managing pitch processes, and driving marketing initiatives that raise the agency’s profile.
Responsibilities
- New Business & Growth
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across key sectors with their director.
- Manage the end-to-end pitch process, including research, coordination, timelines, and submission.
- Work closely with pitch teams to create pitch theatre.
- Maintain and develop relationships with pitch consultants, procurement teams, and prospective clients.
- Track pipeline opportunities and report on new business performance.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives that promote the agency’s work and culture.
- Manage case studies, thought leadership, and award submissions.
- Oversee agency communications including newsletters, website updates, and social channels.
- Support PR initiatives and collaborate with external PR partners.
- Help position Iris as a leader in integrated creativity and participation-led marketing.
- Work with strategy and creative teams to turn agency work into compelling stories.
- Create and distribute marketing materials, credentials, and pitch decks.
- Ensure the agency brand and messaging remain consistent across all touch points.
Required Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in agency new business, marketing, or business development.
- Experience working within creative, integrated, or digital agencies.
- Strong pitch management and project coordination skills.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and writing abilities.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
