What You’ll Do
- Teach and assess learners across a range of English programmes, including GCSE and Functional Skills
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that build literacy, comprehension, and communication skills
- Support learners with varying abilities, including those who may lack confidence in English
- Use creative and practical approaches to make English relevant to real-life contexts
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and learner wellbeing
- Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant English qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Strong subject knowledge, including literacy, language, and/or literature
- The ability to explain concepts clearly and engage learners of all abilities
- Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
- Primary or secondary school teaching experience is advantageous
- A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
- A teaching qualification is welcomed — but if you don’t have one yet, we’ll support you to achieve it while you work
