The opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Consulting Leader to join us as a Partner to lead our Life Sciences Commercial Technology practice. This role focuses on leveraging technology to enable data-driven business transformation within the Life Sciences Commercial sector. Our goal is to be leaders in the Veeva commercial sector; thus, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Veeva and other commercial technology solutions within the Life Sciences industry. The role requires strong consulting and leadership skills to guide clients through complex transformations.
Your key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of the technology consulting strategy for the practice. Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives and market trends.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key senior clients, understanding their unique challenges, and providing advisory and technology solutions. Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through implementing innovative technologies to enhance commercial effectiveness. Leverage EY Thought Leadership to help clients solve challenges and drive growth.
- People Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusiveness, and diversity. Provide training on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Drive efforts to identify and convert new opportunities. Leverage partner relationships within EY’s ecosystem to create value for clients and partners.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the Life Sciences Commercial sector.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Extensive proven experience in technology consulting within the Life Sciences industry in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of the commercial landscape from both business and technology perspectives.
- Successful track record in leading consulting engagements and managing client relationships.
- Experience working with and developing external partnerships and alliances such as Veeva, Salesforce, Adobe, etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and innovation-driving capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with commercial transformation technologies, data analytics, and major CRM systems relevant to life sciences.
