Overview
As Reporting Services Team Lead, you guide a cross-location team delivering accurate, timely reports for i SAMS and Ed.
You set technical standards, mentor developers and ensure reporting solutions meet customer needs.
You’ll work with Product Management, Engineering and Customer Success to prioritise reporting initiatives and continuously improve processes.
This role combines hands-on SSRS/SQL/Power BI work with leadership to shape our reporting platform at scale.
Your leadership will directly influence the quality and impact of data insights used by schools and partners.

Responsibilities
- Lead, support and develop the Reporting Services team across UK and India
- Manage workloads, priorities and delivery timelines
- Oversee design and delivery of reports and analytics for i SAMS and Ed
- Set and maintain technical standards for SSRS, SQL, Power BI and reporting development
- Provide technical guidance on SQL/T-SQL, data modelling and troubleshooting
- Act as escalation point for complex reporting and customer issues
- Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to prioritise requirements
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, consistent and high quality
- Identify and drive improvements to reporting tools, processes and ways of working
- Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous development
- Represent Reporting Services in stakeholder meetings and broader initiatives
- Key requirements
- Hands-on SSRS report development
- Strong SQL/T-SQL skills with complex queries
- Experience using Power BI
- Experience leading or mentoring people in reporting/BI or related area
- Understanding of data modelling, reporting and analytics
