Overview
In this role you lead the Reporting Services team to deliver accurate, reliable reports for i SAMS and Ed.
You will set technical standards, guide development, and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Customer Success to translate requirements into actionable insights.
You’ll manage priorities across a UK and India team, drive improvements in reporting tools and processes, and represent Reporting Services in wider business initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Reporting Services team, setting clear objectives and fostering growth
- Manage workloads, priorities and delivery timelines
- Oversee design and delivery of reports and analytics across i SAMS and Ed
- Set and maintain technical standards across SSRS, SQL, Power BI and reporting development
- Provide technical guidance on SQL/T-SQL, report development, data modelling and troubleshooting
- Act as escalation point for complex reporting or data issues
- Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities
- Ensure reporting solutions are accurate, consistent and high quality
- Identify and lead improvements to reporting tools, processes and ways of working
- Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous development across the team
- Represent Reporting Services in stakeholder meetings and wider initiatives
- Key requirements
- Hands-on SSRS report creation
- Strong SQL/T-SQL skills with complex queries
- Experience using Power BI
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
- Understanding of data modelling, reporting and analytics
- Experience resolving complex reporting or data issues
- Ability to guide other developers technically
- Experience managing workloads and deadlines
- Experience gathering requirements and translating to reporting solutions
- Experience working with customers or stakeholders
- Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
- Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
