Payroll Executive (Education Managed Services)

b Overview /b p In this role you will manage end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate, on-time pay runs and compliant reporting. You will work cross-functionally with Payroll, Product and Support teams to deliver high-quality service and build strong client relationships. You’ll handle data processing, BACS/RTI submissions, reconciliations and year-end activities, shaping reliable payroll delivery for UK customers. This is a hands-on position within a market-leading payroll services team at IRIS. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Career development /li li Exposure to diverse client portfolio /li li Supportive team environment /li li Payroll expertise growth /li li Remote/UK-based role /li li Impact on millions globally /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients /li li Process payroll data via manual input and imports /li li Create BACS files and RTI submissions /li li Check payroll calculations for accuracy /li li Produce payroll reports, payslips, P45s and pension outputs /li li Respond to client and third-party queries /li li Complete reconciliations and year-end activities /li li Support compliance with HMRC legislation /li li Work to agreed service levels and deadlines /li li Collaborate with colleagues across Payroll, Product and Support teams /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven experience processing payrolls /li li Payroll software experience /li li Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills /li li Excellent attention to detail /li li Strong communication and customer service skills /li li Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines /li li Payroll qualifications such as CIPP are desirable but not essential /li /ul ul li Attention to detail /li li Communication skills /li li Customer service orientation /li li Payroll processing /li li BACS /li li RTI submissions /li /ul
