Overview
In this role you drive payroll software implementations for clients, translating their payroll needs into effective configuration and data migrations.
You’ll work hands-on with customers to guide go-live, testing and training, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
You’ll develop deep payroll technology expertise and solve complex setup challenges in a Saa S environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage payroll software implementations for new and existing customers
- Translate customers' payroll processes into appropriate software configurations
- Configure Saa S products, workflows and customer-specific requirements
- Support payroll data migration, integrations and testing
- Work with APIs, ETL processes and data transformation where required
- Guide customers through user acceptance testing and go-live readiness
- Deliver training and explain software clearly to customers
- Support customers during go-live and ongoing support
- Manage multiple customer projects and priorities simultaneously
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to resolve issues and deliver outcomes
- Keep customers informed about progress, timelines, risks and issues
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Key requirements
- Hands-on payroll experience and strong payroll knowledge
- Experience in Saa S/software implementation, onboarding or technical consulting
- Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Experience with payroll software or systems
- Understanding of software configuration, workflows and integrations
- Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration or data transformation
- Ability to manage multiple customers/projects simultaneously
- Ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence or similar tools would be useful
- Prior roles may include Implementation Consultant, Payroll Implementation Consultant, Payroll Systems Consultant, Payroll Consultant, Saa S Consultant or Technical Consultant
