Overview
As an Education Migration Consultant, you guide education customers through moving from desktop to cloud-based IRIS solutions, ensuring data accuracy and payroll integrity. You act as a trusted advisor, coordinating with payroll, HR, support, and managed services to deliver a smooth migration and positive customer experience. You will contribute to a large cloud adoption program that transforms how schools and accountancy firms operate, making a tangible impact on customer success and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Support education customers moving from desktop software to cloud-based solutions
- Prepare and validate customer payroll and HR data for migration
- Carry out payroll parallel runs, reconciliations, and validation activities
- Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure successful migration outcomes
- Deliver training and support to both customers and internal stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with payroll, HR, support, and project teams to achieve successful customer outcomes
Key requirements
- Experience within Education Payroll
- Knowledge of pensions, HR legislation, and Auto Enrolment
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
- A proactive and organised approach to managing customer projects
- Experience working in a customer focused or consultancy environment
- Exposure to IRIS Payroll software would be advantageous
- A CIPP qualification or equivalent would be desirable
- Knowledge of cloud migration concepts (implicit)
