Behind every successful commercial team is accurate data, clear reporting and reliable forecasting. That is where our Revenue Operations team comes in. As a Revenue Operations Associate, you will help our Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams make better decisions by turning data into clear, useful insights. You will work with reports, dashboards, forecasts and large datasets to help leaders understand performance, identify opportunities and plan for future growth. Excel will be one of your main tools in this role, so you will need to be confident using formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables and working with detailed data. This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is highly numerate, enjoys solving problems and wants to develop valuable commercial and analytical skills. You may have gained relevant experience through university, an internship, a placement, a project or an entry-level office role.
Why This Role Matters
Good business decisions depend on accurate information. The reports, analysis and forecasts you produce will help our commercial teams understand where we are performing well, where there may be risks and where new opportunities could be developing. By improving the quality and visibility of our data, you will help our teams work more effectively, make better decisions and ultimately deliver better outcomes for our customers.
About the Team You'll Join
You will join our Revenue Operations team of around 10 colleagues based across the UK and India. The team works closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and senior leaders across IRIS. Together, they manage commercial reporting, sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, data quality and performance analysis. You will be supported by experienced colleagues while gaining exposure to how a global software business operates. Over time, this role could lead to opportunities across Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Commercial Operations, Data and wider business functions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining sales forecasting processes across our global sales teams.
- Monitoring sales performance against targets, budgets and forecasts.
- Building and maintaining Excel-based reports, models, dashboards and trackers.
- Working with large and complex datasets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Identifying and correcting data quality issues within Salesforce.
- Supporting pipeline hygiene and ensuring commercial data is complete and reliable.
- Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast presentations for senior leaders.
- Analysing sales trends, pipeline movement, conversion rates, win and loss trends and forecast accuracy.
- Producing clear analysis that highlights risks, opportunities and key business insights.
- Working with sales leaders to improve forecasting and pipeline management.
- Supporting revenue planning and performance review processes.
- Using CRM, reporting and forecasting tools to support accurate decision-making.
- Communicating findings clearly to colleagues across the business.
What We’re Looking For
Strong Excel skills are one of the most important requirements for this role. We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, including formulas, lookups and Pivot Tables.
- Confidence working with large datasets, spreadsheets and detailed information.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- The ability to work to deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence explaining simple findings or updates to others.
- A positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Some exposure to Revenue Operations would be helpful, but we understand that candidates at this level may still be developing their experience. It would be great if you also have:
- Some experience or understanding of Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or Business Analytics.
- Exposure gained through employment, university, an internship, a placement or a relevant project.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools.

- Experience supporting reports, dashboards or data analysis.
- A degree in a numerate, business or analytical subject, or equivalent relevant learning.
- A relevant Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or Business Analytics certification.
You do not need to meet every desirable requirement to apply. If you have strong Excel skills, enjoy working with data and are keen to learn, we would be pleased to hear from you.
