That someone is our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn, grow, and build real confidence in the world of tech sales. This role is very much about speaking to people. A large part of your day will be spent making outbound calls, starting conversations, and building confidence with every dial. Our dedicated Sales Training team works alongside you every single day, offering coaching, feedback, and support to help you improve call by call. Many of our top Account Executives, Sales Managers, and Sales Directors started their career right here as SDRs - proving how far this role can take you.
About the Team You’ll Join
You’ll be part of our Sales Development department - a friendly, ambitious group who all support each other. You’ll work closely with:
- Account Executives, who rely on the meetings you book
- Marketing, who provide warm leads and campaigns
- Sales Trainers, who coach you daily
- Sales Leadership, who support your development

What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on role where you’ll build strong communication skills from day one. You will:
- Make outbound phone calls to start conversations with potential customers
- Use email and LinkedIn to support your outreach and follow up
- Listen carefully to uncover challenges and identify where IRIS can help
- Qualify interest and book meetings for our Account Executives
- Learn about our products so you can speak confidently about the problems they solve
- Keep your CRM notes tidy, accurate, and organised
- Work towards weekly goals focused on conversations, meetings, and pipeline

After this, you’ll have a friendly check-in with a Talent Partner. As part of this stage, you’ll also complete a few short online assessments.
