At Every, we help schools run more smoothly. From HR and payroll to finance and staff management, our software supports schools with the systems they rely on every single day. As more schools move to Every, we’re growing our Implementation team and looking for someone who understands customers, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build a career helping schools successfully adopt new technology. This is not a back-office processing role. It’s a people-focused implementation role where you’ll work directly with schools to guide them through onboarding, training, setup, and rollout of Every’s software solutions.
You’ll help customers move away from older systems and processes into modern software that makes everyday work easier. You’ll become a trusted point of contact for schools throughout their journey - helping users feel confident, supported, and successful from day one.
This role is especially suited to people with experience in areas such as:
- Payroll
- HR systems
- School administration
- Education software
- Software support
- Customer onboarding
- Training or implementation
- Customer-facing support roles
We’re particularly interested in people who understand payroll processes and payroll legislation, even if they haven’t worked in software implementation before.
Why This Role Matters
Schools rely on HR and payroll systems to keep everything running properly behind the scenes. When a school moves to a new platform, it’s a major change. There are deadlines, compliance requirements, payroll pressures, and staff who need support adapting to new ways of working. That’s where you come in. Your role is to make that transition feel smooth, supported, and successful. You’ll help schools understand the system, feel confident using it, and get real value from the software. The experience you deliver directly impacts customer satisfaction, long‑term relationships, and how successfully schools adopt Every across their teams.
About the Team You'll Join
You’ll join our Every Implementation team within Education Professional Services - a collaborative group of around 15 Consultants and Trainers who support schools across the UK. The team works closely together, sharing ideas, helping each other solve problems, and supporting customers through real‑world challenges every day. Most of the team are based around Leeds and Yorkshire, and regular collaboration has become a really important part of how the team works and develops. Because of this, you’ll be expected to travel into the Leeds office every two weeks. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn both HR and Payroll products as part of Every’s long‑term growth within education.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting schools through the onboarding and implementation of Every software
- Delivering online training sessions and walkthroughs to school staff
- Helping customers configure and use the system successfully
- Managing customer expectations, timelines, and rollout plans
- Building strong relationships with customers throughout their implementation journey
- Troubleshooting issues and helping customers find practical solutions
- Supporting several customer projects at the same time
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver a smooth customer experience
- Providing a high standard of customer support across calls, meetings, and online sessions
- Helping improve processes and identifying ways to make implementations even better
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people just as much as systems. You might currently work in payroll, software support, onboarding, education software, implementation, training, customer support, or administration - and now want a role where you can use those skills in a more consultative and customer‑focused way. You’ll likely be a strong fit if you have:
- Experience in payroll, HR systems, education software, or customer‑facing support
- Confidence communicating with customers over phone, video calls, and online meetings
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- A calm, professional approach when handling challenges
- Good Excel and data handling skills
- A positive attitude towards learning new systems and processes
- A genuine passion for helping customers
You do not need previous implementation experience to apply. If you understand payroll processes, enjoy helping people, and are confident communicating with customers, we’d love to hear from you.
