At IRIS FMP International, part of the IRIS Software Group, we help businesses pay their people across the world - accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local laws. Our International Operations team manages payroll delivery in multiple countries, working closely with clients and in-country payroll partners to make sure everything runs exactly as it should. We’re organised, precise, and great at building strong, long-term relationships.
Our team sits at the heart of international payroll delivery for IRIS. We connect clients with our network of in-country partners - coordinating data, managing timelines, and ensuring every step of the process happens on schedule. Each Advisor looks after a small group of key clients (typically 5-10) covering 10–15 country payrolls across the UK and continental Europe. It’s a role that blends structure, service, and partnership - giving you the chance to build trusted professional relationships (and often genuine friendships) with the clients who rely on you.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for your portfolio of international clients
- Coordinate the flow of data between clients and payroll partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Act as the main client contact - answering questions, resolving issues, and keeping everyone informed
- Track key deadlines and make sure every payroll cycle stays on schedule
- Support audits and maintain accurate documentation for compliance
- Monitor KPIs / SLAs and report performance clearly
- Review and improve internal processes to make life easier for clients and colleagues
- Check in regularly with clients to plan ahead and strengthen relationships
This is a well-structured, stable role - typically busier towards month-end, with quieter periods at the start of each month for client check-ins and forward planning.
What Are We Looking For?
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills - you’ll be the trusted point of contact for some of our largest global clients
- Confident managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders across different time zones
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, calm under pressure, and able to prioritise effectively
- Fluent in English; an additional European language such as French, Spanish, or Italian would be a real plus
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Office 365
- Previous experience in a client-facing payroll, operations, or service environment
- Experience working with international or multi-country payrolls would be advantageous, especially if you’ve coordinated between clients and in-country partners to deliver accurate, compliant results
What Can IRIS Offer You?
- The opportunity to manage global client relationships and oversee payrolls across multiple countries
- A supportive, friendly, and collaborative team culture
- Clear structure and stability - predictable monthly cycles and long-term client partnerships
- Remote working anywhere in the UK
- Professional development within a respected global payroll brand
- The satisfaction of helping businesses pay their people correctly, every time
If you’re organised, people-focused, and enjoy bringing order and clarity to complex global processes, we’d love to hear from you.
