Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales team in achieving and exceeding sales targets by providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Foster a culture of high performance within the sales team and elevate standards consistently.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base and maximize revenue from existing accounts in the education sector.
  • Ensure robust CRM practices to manage the opportunity pipeline effectively.
  • Enable the sales team to effectively communicate the value proposition of our educational solutions portfolio.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the performance of sales representatives focused on the education sector.
  • Cultivate strong and enduring relationships with schools and educational institutions.
  • Provide sales forecasts, revenue projections, and market insights to the management team.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to identify market opportunities and potential threats.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product development teams to enhance existing products and develop tailored solutions for the education sector.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Proficient in sales methodologies such as Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, Value Selling, or similar, with a background in software/SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record as a sales manager in the education sector, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Commitment to personal development through training, workshops, and industry conferences.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in driving the sales process from planning to closure.
  • Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
