At IRIS Software Group, we’re hiring for a Client Payroll Associate to support our rapidly growing payroll team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, problem solving, dealing with clients, and being part of a team that helps the business succeed. This is an in-person role, 5 days per week, based at our Manchester office (M1 4DY), Monday to Friday.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Produce month-end invoices
- Manage the bureau e-mail inbox
- Assign emails to the appropriate Payroll Coordinator
- Log customer queries to meet departmental KPIs
- Update the Squid system
- Assist with ad hoc duties, including administration and answering calls
- Pay employees accurately and on time following customer instructions
- Keep the processing guide up to date and version-controlled as per customer requirements
- Ensure processes comply with data protection and GDPR regulations, raising issues with the Team Leader
- Update the Account Manager/Project Manager on concerns or customer-requested changes

Skills and Experience:
- Payroll software experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Educated to GCSE level (Grades A-C)
