This person will be responsible for helping to maintain and improve gardens and grounds across our client’s homes, schemes, and office buildings located in and around Staffordshire, as well as minor repairs to external spaces, fences and buildings.
Job requirements:
- Deliver grounds maintenance tasks including lawn mowing, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, and litter picking.
- Other maintenance jobs including gutter clearing, fence and gate repairs, and small-scale home repairs for their residents.
- Perform landscaping works to help improve their outdoor spaces.
- Use of powered equipment, including brush cutters, hedge cutters, lawn mowers, and leaf blowers.
- Deliver excellent service to their customers.
What they’re looking for:
- Knowledge of the delivery of grounds maintenance.
- Ability to carry out small-scale property repairs.
- Experience in working in all weathers.
- Experience and knowledge of safe working practice.
- Educated to NVQ Level 2 in horticulture or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
