Welfare Benefits Officer Stockton on Tees (Hybrid Working) 37,288 - 39,523 per annum Permanent, 35 hours per week

Our client is looking for someone with experience of the welfare benefits system and managing caseloads. You will be responsible for the provision of welfare benefits advice and more general support to help customers maximise their income, sustain their tenancies and prevent tenancy breakdown.

The post holder will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the welfare benefits system, a proven track record of working with challenging and varied caseloads and the ability to convey complex information in a supportive manner. You will have an exceptional approach to collaboration and commitment to partnership working. You will have a strong sense of social purpose and be committed to making a difference.
