Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As our Income Team Leader, you’ll play an important role in making this a reality for thousands of families in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

You’ll lead your team to deliver a high quality, compliant, income support service and provide a great customer experience to our tenants. You and your team will monitor and manage accounts for all tenancy types, supporting tenants that fall into arrears with an aim to keep them in their homes. Working with the Head of Income you’ll help develop and improve the team’s processes.

What you’ll bring to our team

Skilled and experienced, you’ll understand the importance of following regulations and working within agreed targets and budgets. You’ll build good relationships across the business and support your team to develop their skills and provide the best outcomes for our tenants.

What we are looking for

  • Experience leading an income team in a performance-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of rent arrears and debt recovery processes, with experience presenting cases in court.
  • Experience engaging with Local Authority and Universal Credit regarding rent increases and benefit issues
  • A competent written and verbal communicator that can communicate effectively with all stakeholders using appropriate, relevant language and techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership and accountability for the success and performance management of their team.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car insured for business use.
  • Qualified to HNC level or higher in a relevant subject area ideally.
  • Chartered Institute of Housing qualified or equivalent.
