We have an exciting opportunity for an Income Collection Assistant to join our Income and allocations service, which provides support to our customers in managing their rent and service charge payments to One Manchester. We are looking for someone to provide administrative support to enable the smooth running of our income collection processes. You will interact with customers, liaise with internal departments and external partner agencies. Your excellent organisational skills and attention to detail will be key to making this role a success.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, with the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
- Experience of working in a targeted, performance-driven environment and delivering against KPIs.
- Experience of discussing debt owed with customers, particularly in relation to former tenant and garage arrears.
- Strong ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, meeting objectives and deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and produce concise, relevant notes.
- Flexibility in approach with the ability to adapt to new working practices, as necessary.
- Proactive in sharing ideas and suggestions to improve efficiency across workstreams.
- Experience of working within income collection of a housing organisation and providing administrative support within a team environment is advantageous.
