As a member of our Domestic Abuse Services you’ll be providing triage and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of our co-ordinated response to high risk domestic abuse services in Derbyshire.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from customers, colleagues and partner agencies.
- Process referrals and use risk assessment tools to assess suitability for the service.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and notes, and manage resources.
- Collate data, research and reports to support service development and commissioner reporting.
- Maintain secure records, work within safeguarding and information-sharing standards, and build strong partnerships with agencies.
Who you are:
- A strong understanding of relationship abuse, including the dynamics, behaviours and risks involved.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with confidence to ask questions and clarify information.
- Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, including confidence using case management systems and handling confidential information.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative, compassionate approach that values individuals and supports colleagues.
- A full driving licence with the use of your own vehicle is essential.
- DBS check required.
