Contract: Fixed Term – 12 months
Hours: 20 hours per week – Mon, Tues, Thurs 9:00am - 4:30pm

Snapshot of your role
- Lead the day‑to‑day operational management of the service, ensuring compliance with all contractual, regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Deliver a safe, person‑centred service where customers receive support aligned to their assessed needs and personal goals.
- Oversee safeguarding, incidents, complaints, risk management and quality assurance processes, ensuring timely reporting and action.
- Manage referrals, assessments and support planning, ensuring these are current, meaningful and customer‑focused.
- Provide strong leadership to Community Support Workers, Night Porters, the Estates Officer and Cleaner, ensuring effective supervision, staffing levels and service delivery.
- Maintain financial oversight including budgets, rent accounts, expenditure monitoring and adherence to Amplius financial procedures.
What we’re looking for
- Knowledge of housing‑related support services, particularly homelessness.
- Understanding of regulatory standards, professional boundaries and safeguarding requirements.
- Experience working with partners, including organising and leading multi‑agency meetings.
- Ability to manage anti‑social behaviour, apply Positive Behaviour Support approaches and empower customers to shape their service.
- Aware of basic building maintenance and health & safety responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict using mediation techniques.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office systems including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Desirable
- Experience of line management within a care, housing or support environment.
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence, access to own car and willingness to travel is required.
- This position requires an Enhanced with Barred Lists DBS check.
