What You’ll Do
- Teach and assess learners across a range of Biology programmes and related science qualifications
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons covering both theoretical and practical aspects of Biology
- Support learners in developing scientific understanding, analytical thinking, and laboratory skills
- Use creative and practical approaches to make Biology relevant to real-world applications and careers
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and learner wellbeing
- Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant Biology or Science qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Strong subject knowledge across areas such as human biology, cell biology, ecology, or genetics
- The ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and engage learners of all abilities
- Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
- Laboratory or industry experience within a science-related field is advantageous
- A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
- A teaching qualification (level 4 or above) is welcomed — but if you don’t have one yet, we’ll support you to achieve it while you work
