About the role

You will play a vital role in delivering a high‑quality, customer‑focused housing service. In this dynamic position you will support the Lettings team to ensure an efficient and responsive allocations and lettings function, helping customers find suitable homes while maintaining excellent service standards.

Working closely with the Allocations & Lettings Service Manager and wider team, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support, manage diaries, produce performance reports, and keep key processes running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing housing applications and supporting evidence in line with policy
  • Managing property matching through systems such as Home Swapper
  • Liaising with tenants to identify appropriate housing options
  • Raising and managing purchase orders
  • Supporting complaint handling processes
  • Ensuring responses to customer feedback are completed within agreed timescales

About you

  • Organised and proactive with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Experience or understanding of Allocations & Lettings
  • Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of equality and diversity in service delivery
  • Confidence using IT systems, working with data and reports
  • Ability to apply policies with sound judgement to resolve routine issues
