Are you ready to make a difference? Our client has a fantastic opportunity to join their Estates Management Team in the role of Senior Estate Ranger responsible for maintaining their estates to a high standard.
About the Role
As a Senior Estate Ranger, you'll provide top-notch basic repairs, cleaning and maintenance services to their properties and estates. You'll manage schedules through their contractor system and step in to support the Estates Services Manager when needed. Plus, you'll have the rewarding role of supervising, training, and coaching their future stars—pre-apprentices and apprentices in the Estate Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervisory Role: Cover for the Service Manager - Estate Management when needed. Train, coach, and support pre-apprentices and apprentices.
- Services: Provide DIY, repair jobs, AOV testing, and Fire Door testing.
- Scheduling: Manage jobs on the contractor system and arrange bulky waste collections. Ensure KPI targets are met.
- Health & Safety: Address non-compliance issues on-site. Report concerns about vulnerable residents, tenancy breaches, or emergencies to the appropriate team or Police.
- Customer Service: Respond to queries, manage expectations, and report unresolved issues to the Service Manager - Estate Management.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate site records, including inspections and photos. Use hand-held devices for job updates and communication.
- Equipment Management: Check, store, and arrange repairs for plant and materials.
- Workload Management: Prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with the Service Manager - Estate Management.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the Service Manager - Estate Management to foster a positive, professional, and inclusive team culture.

- Strong knowledge and experience of DIY and general maintenance.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety at Work.
- Experience of dealing with members of the public in a professional manner.
- Experience of using computers and handheld devices.

- Will be required to drive company vehicles including a flat-bed truck (Full UK Manual licence required).
- Will be required to use PDA (hand-held device).
