The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams to analyse changes in legislation and government procedures. The role will require interpreting those changes and documenting how our different software solutions will need to be altered to ensure compliance is maintained for our customers. We are looking for an expert in the preparation of annual financial statements for different entities, different accounting standards and different accounting body recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Using tooling to define under what circumstances figures and wording appears on the reports
- Tagging the reports with mandatory iXBRL tags
- Delivering the functionality to produce compliant accounts from the software
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Engineers & Agile Teams
- Providing statutory accounts knowledge and experience to our engineering teams

Qualification:
ACCA / ICAEW / AAT or equivalent Accounting qualification desirable
Experience:
- Strong general accounting knowledge, including but not limited to:
- Preparation of annual financial statements for different entities (LTD's, Partnerships, Groups, Charities)
- Legalities of different business types
- Statutory requirements for submitting documents to the Government
- Companies Act requirements of annual accounts
- Understanding of (UK) Financial Reporting Standards, SORP’s, Accounting body recommendations
- IFRS/IAS (International accounting standards)
- Excellent understanding of data flows
- Background in report writing in a BI/MI tool
- Excellent analytical skills and logical mindset
- Ability to communicate with accountants and non-accountants in terms they understand
Competencies:

- IT skills including installing software
