Our client currently has a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated, friendly team as a Customer First Adviser. Based at their Bridge Street Customer Central Office, this role requires flexibility to work a rota that can include Thursday evening and Saturdays as required to a maximum of 37 hours per week. Office opening hours are 0830 – 1730 (1800 on Thursday) and Saturday 0830 – 1300.

As a Customer First Adviser, you will be the first point of contact for face-to-face customer queries at their City Centre Customer Central location. You will effectively and efficiently demonstrate a professional approach to ensure that all interactions are managed calmly and with empathy, ensuring the correct action is taken to resolve queries.

Using their LETS principle, you will need to actively listen to and understand the details of each contact, assessing and supporting customers with patience and empathy with the aim of first contact resolution. You will therefore need to maintain up-to-date knowledge of all their services to provide excellent customer service to residents and those who access their services.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has previous experience working in customer service face-to-face and who can on occasion also cover the telephone, email and live webchat queries.
