The role

This role is part of our search‑focused client leadership team, where you will work across the Beiersdorf (BDF) suite of brands, including NIVEA, Eucerin and Hansaplast, acting as a senior strategic partner to the client across the EU region. Beiersdorf is a global skincare leader, and as their search marketing agency, we operate across the full search ecosystem (SEO & PPC). Our ambition is to maximise visibility for Beiersdorf brands across the search journey, with a primary focus on discovery, using best‑in‑class website content, paid search strategy, CRO, and strategic initiatives designed to maximise the value of traffic and drive sustainable growth.

As a SEO Manager, you will take ownership of multiple EU regions (e.g. DACH, SOE or France/Benelux), acting as the senior day‑to‑day client contact and a trusted advisor. You will be responsible for connecting client objectives with our SEO and PPC strategies, leading performance conversations, proactively identifying growth opportunities, and influencing both regional and central stakeholders. You will work closely with our senior strategy and channel leadership teams to shape long‑term roadmaps, unlock new opportunities, and ensure our work consistently delivers commercial impact. Our mission is to enhance brand knowledge, inspire loyalty, and drive awareness through engaging content. This role is critical to achieving that vision, requiring strategic thinking, leadership, and a relentless focus on client growth.

How you’d spend your day

You will play a senior client leadership role within a large, multi‑disciplinary team, with a strong focus on building and maintaining best‑in‑class client relationships. Strategic knowledge of both SEO and PPC, as you will be expected to lead performance narratives, challenge briefs, and guide clients towards the most impactful search strategies. Your primary focus will be owning the client relationship across your regions and steering clients towards long‑term, scalable growth.

  • Leading strategic conversations across SEO and PPC, translating performance into clear commercial value.
  • Producing and presenting high‑quality performance reporting, insights, and recommendations for client stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifying and shaping growth opportunities across markets and channels.
  • Acting as the central point of connection between the client, SEO, PPC, project management, and senior strategy teams.

You will be responsible for opportunity identification and strategic planning, ensuring local nuances are reflected while aligning with global objectives. You will oversee delivery standards across your regions, championing innovation (particularly around automation, efficiency, and new search capabilities) and ensuring execution consistently exceeds client expectations.

In addition, you will:

  • Collaborate with channel leads on quarterly and annual planning cycles for your regions.
  • Mentor and support more junior team members, setting the standard for client leadership and strategic thinking.

Collaboration sits at the heart of this role. You will bring clarity, confidence, and a proactive mindset to every interaction, inspiring both clients and colleagues and pushing the work forward.
