Shift Schedule: You will work 30 hours per week with two shift patterns available:
- Week 1: Thursday to Sunday: 07:30–15:30 (7.5 hrs/day)
- Week 2: Tuesday to Friday: 07:30–15:30 (7.5 hrs/day)
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver high standards of cleanliness across the unit.
- Daily cleaning of all areas according to schedules and specifications, using correct methods and equipment.
- Maintain documentation, including cleaning schedules and stock control logs.
- Operate laundry equipment (sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and storing items).
- Clean client rooms and communal areas, using appropriate electrical equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, polishers, carpet cleaners).
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any faults.
- Manage waste disposal in line with health and safety protocols.
- Carry out regular audits and provide feedback to staff and management.
- Maintain an up-to-date COSHH register.
- Liaise with the Estates and Health & Safety departments as required.
- Handle complaints effectively and follow company procedures.
