Iris Care Group is seeking a committed, experienced and values-driven clinician to join us in a senior clinical leadership role at a pivotal stage of our development. This role combines strategic clinical leadership with hands-on clinical practice.
You will provide leadership and support to clinical and operational colleagues working across our learning disability and autism services, while also holding a defined clinical caseload aligned to your expertise and interests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical and strategic leadership and management to the psychology teams and services for people with Intellectual Disabilities operated by Iris Care Group, spanning inpatient, residential education and community social care services.
- Leading psychological assessment and treatment delivery for psychologists and other members of the MDT who deliver psychological interventions to people with an intellectual disability across ICG.
- Developing, implementing and evaluating coherent and evidence-based programmes for the delivery of Positive Behavioural Support interventions by the MDT.
- Embedding positive approaches to challenging behaviour into the general functioning and culture of the organisation.
- Ensuring that clinical input is integrated with operational delivery and supports identified person-centred outcomes for all service users within the service.
- Working closely with operational staff to achieve these goals.

We have a supportive team of Psychiatrists, Clinical, Forensic and Counselling Psychologists, Allied Health Professionals and experienced social care staff.
The clinical department has a strong track record in research and service improvement, innovation in complex care and contribution to national discussions and professional networks. Clinicians regularly contribute to national conferences and communities of practice. We also support trainee clinical and forensic psychologist placements through partnerships with local universities.
