As the Clinical Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to lead and support our team of nurses, ensuring they deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will take responsibility for clinical oversight, care planning, medication management, and regulatory compliance while being a visible and supportive leader for the nursing team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support the nursing team to deliver safe and effective care
- Review and maintain personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and professionals
- Ensure safe medication administration, ordering, and stock control
- Monitor residents' health, responding to changes and ensuring timely referrals/escalation
- Support nurse training, induction, supervisions, and clinical competency assessments
- Maintain full compliance with CQC standards and relevant care legislation
- Act as Person in Charge in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Represent Iris Care Group in multi-agency meetings and build strong external relationships
