IRIS: AI first audio enhancement for better communications
IRIS is harnessing the science of sound, dramatically improving how people experience audio across all digital platforms. Since launching in 2018, IRIS has developed a suite of patented products that leverage decades of research into the effects of sound on the brain, prioritising focus, productivity, and wellness for all. Our flagship products IRIS Clarity and IRIS SDK use cutting-edge AI-driven voice isolation to eliminate noise from both sides of customer calls, leaving only the conversation and proven to drive agent focus, productivity and customer experience.
Born out of our work in Formula One, IRIS Clarity desktop application addresses a clear need in the CCaaS market, with additional markets now opening up that present significant opportunities across enterprise, notably retail, BPO, digital healthcare, utilities and financial services. Meanwhile, the IRIS SDK packages up our latest and greatest AI noise cancellation models, offering third party CCaaS, UCaaS and other comms platforms a powerful value added feature that solves a key industry problem.
The role:
As IRIS reaches 7 years old this month, we continue to grow at pace and bring our ground breaking noise cancellation products to the world.
The Account Executive will be focused on mid market to larger accounts within specific industries where voice services are key to the customer\’s business model. You will be a hungry, high performing sales professional, ideally from the CX, SaaS, or broader customer service space, but to be truly successful in this role you will need to demonstrate clear experience in delivering sales performance within a start-up.
This role will suit someone who does not wait to be given opportunities, and has skills in self-generating pipeline through a mix of existing contacts and hard work out in the market. You will be a self-starter and solution minded, a clear communicator who can pitch the big idea, but then follow the qualification process required to evaluate client needs and secure sales.
This role is a blend of new business and portfolio account management and will require exceptional performance across both of these role aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Create and drive revenue in the UK and across EMEA within the call centre market
- Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking, associations, etc.
- Work with our SDR team to identify and nurture prospect opportunities.
- Travel to prospects, clients and industry events where the role requires it
- Build a 3x pipeline coverage of your target within 3-6 months, meet and exceed all sales quotas
- Own and help develop the sales cycle – from lead generation to closure and in-life management
- Nurture existing clients, identify potential upsell or risk, execute the land & expand approach
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams, including channel partners
- Accurate and timely updates to our CRM (Hubspot) and accuracy in forecasting
Experience:
- A proven sales hunter and closer, including self generated opportunities, proof points a necessity
- 3 years minimum software sales experience with mid-market and enterprise clients
- Strong preference for experience in selling software within CX or similar field
- The ideal candidate would have a background in a recognised sales methodology, i.e. SPIN, BANT, MEDDIC, Challenger Sales
- Strong preference for experience selling into sectors where voice is crucial, such as; retail, financial services, utilities, healthcare, telcos, etc.
- Proven track record of sales excellence & customer focus, including the stages beyond the sale
- Self starter and able to understand and quickly react to changing priorities
- Experience of working within the startup environment, or the clear demonstration that you have what it takes to succeed in such an environment, this is crucial to success in this role and company
- Strong communication and verbal skills, highly organised and effective at upward management
- Ideally technically minded with an understanding of software deployments such as SDKs, APIs etc.
