We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHE Project Engineer to join our team based at our Beverage factory in Dalston. You will support the factory on all matters related to Health and Safety as well as education and training relating to an upcoming CAPEX project at the site.
Nestlé Dalston Factory in Cumbria is the European Centre for cappuccino and creamers producing a range of beverage products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing and expanding leading brands such as Nescafé, Aero Hot Chocolate and Coffeemate. The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles and actively developing Lean/TPM processes.
A day in the life of a SHE Project Engineer includes:
- Executing the SHE plans and delivering training for PTW and contractor management for both projects and the site teams.
- Coaching, assessment, and review of contractor activities and those responsible for contractor management.
- Representing the SHE Function & local point of contact for all contractor management enquiries.
- Undertaking machinery risk assessments and ensuring full compliance to the modes of intervention.
