Overview: Our client is a well-established digital consultancy delivering complex web, ecommerce, mobile application, and bespoke software solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients across both the public and private sectors. As part of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple client-facing digital projects. This role will play a key part in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, working closely with clients, technical teams, designers, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of web, ecommerce, mobile app, and bespoke software development projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring effective control of scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and dependencies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, project kick-offs, and regular client update meetings.
  • Work closely with development, UX, design, QA, and CS teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and change requests, ensuring proactive mitigation where required.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Ensure best practice governance, reporting, documentation, and delivery processes are maintained.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and client engagement.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years' Project Management experience delivering digital, software, or technology projects.
  • Proven track record delivering client-facing web, ecommerce, mobile application, and bespoke software development projects.
  • Previous experience working within a digital agency, consultancy, software house, or similar client-services environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to confidently engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree educated, ideally within a technology, computing, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Previous hands-on software development experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Formal Project Management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum, or equivalent certifications are desirable.
  • Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
