Overview:

Our client is an established and growing B2B software organisation delivering innovative technology solutions to a wide-ranging client base across multiple industries. As part of continued development of their product function, they are seeking a Product Manager to drive the development and evolution of key software products and platform capabilities. This role will play a central part in shaping product strategy, defining roadmaps, and working closely with engineering, delivery, commercial, and customer teams to ensure products continue to meet both business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the product roadmap across a range of software products and platform initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and senior leadership to gather requirements and define product priorities.
  • Translate business and customer needs into clear product specifications and user stories for technical teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept through to release and continuous improvement.
  • Drive product discovery activities including user feedback, market analysis, and competitor research.
  • Monitor product performance and customer engagement, using data and insights to support decision making and prioritisation.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support Agile product delivery processes including backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritisation activities.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of product management processes, governance, and ways of working.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years Product Management experience within a B2B software or SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle within technology-led businesses.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies and delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and commercial teams.
  • Experience gathering and translating customer and business requirements into actionable product outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Degree level education is highly desirable.
  • Relevant Product Management certifications or qualifications are advantageous.
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and customer-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
