Overview: Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce retail business currently investing heavily in technology, systems, and operational change across the organisation. As part of this continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a broad range of internal technology and business change projects. This role will play a key part in driving cross-functional initiatives across areas including digital platforms, business systems, infrastructure, data, and operational technology improvements. Working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders across the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered effectively, on time, and aligned to wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of internal technology and change projects across the business, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, resource requirements, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Work closely with technical teams including software development, infrastructure, data, and third-party suppliers to coordinate successful project delivery.
  • Partner with senior business stakeholders across operations, ecommerce, finance, and customer functions to gather requirements and manage expectations.
  • Drive clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders, ensuring visibility of progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced and evolving retail environment.
  • Ensure project governance, reporting, documentation, and delivery standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes and ways of working.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years Project Management experience delivering technology and business change projects.
  • Proven experience managing internal technical projects within ecommerce, retail, digital, or customer-focused environments.
  • Strong understanding of technology delivery across areas such as systems integration, digital platforms, infrastructure, or data.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Experience in a similar role in retail, ecommerce or D2C environments.
  • Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
