Overview:

We are supporting an established digital consultancy in Manchester that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Account Manager. This is a key role within a growing client services function, focused on building long-term client relationships, providing strategic consultancy, and driving sustainable account growth whilst working closely with senior leadership, delivery teams and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as the primary strategic contact across your account portfolio.
  • Lead regular strategic account meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews and planning workshops focused on client objectives, satisfaction and future opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal delivery and technical teams to ensure a joined-up client experience and successful long-term outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth through upselling, cross-selling and strategic consultancy.
  • Support commercial discussions, account planning, forecasting and contract renewals.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, proactively manage risks, and maintain exceptional levels of client service.
  • Maintain strategic account plans, roadmaps and accurate CRM records across your portfolio.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing and business development teams to maximise client retention and long-term growth.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an Account Management, Client Services or Customer Success role within a digital agency or tech consultancy.
  • Proven experience managing multiple client relationships and leading strategic stakeholder discussions.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Experience facilitating client meetings, workshops or business reviews.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • A good understanding of digital delivery, website projects, CRM platforms or wider technology solutions would be highly advantageous.
