As a Site and Reliability Engineer, you'll be part of a global product engineering ecosystem, working closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure our platforms are reliable, secure, scalable and well-supported for our GTMD customers.
Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in:
- Supporting and operating mission-critical production systems for GTMD platforms
- Working as part of an end-to-end product engineering team across development and operations
- Monitoring systems, responding to incidents and contributing to service reliability improvements
- Supporting and improving observability across metrics, logs and distributed tracing
- Contributing to highly available, resilient architectures across AWS and hybrid environments
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
- Reducing operational effort through smart automation and reliability-focused engineering
- Supporting production releases and ensuring changes are safely migrated to live environments
- Participating in an on-call rotation, including after-hours support when required
- Continuously finding better ways to improve reliability, scalability and supportability
What you will bring:
- Experience providing production support for mission-critical applications
- Hands on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Exposure to containerised platforms and services such as Kubernetes, ECS, Kafka and Elasticache
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Buildkite, Jenkins, TeamCity or GitHub Actions
- Engineering or scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python, C#, Kotlin)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Working knowledge of databases such as Postgres or SQL Server
- A security first mindset across systems, networks and applications
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Curiosity and interest in modern engineering practices, automation and reliability engineering
- Willingness to learn and leverage modern tools, including Generative AI and code assistants, within governance and security boundaries
