iRepair Zone is currently looking for a full-time Workshop Technician to join our store in London on a 40-hour contract.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to identify and repair fault(s) such as broken screens, battery replacements, charge port issues, back glass, rear camera replacements, and software issues on all types of smartphones.
  • Testing and diagnosis of devices including iPhone, iPad, game consoles, Apple computers, and wearables.
  • Replace parts and repair faults of mobile phones, tablets, and other small mobile devices.
  • Achieve individual daily and monthly repair targets cost-effectively.
  • Regularly inspect and perform all required activities to maintain the equipment in functional order before or after its use.
  • Keep written records of all repairs and maintenance interventions undertaken, including information on the parts and materials used.
  • Maintain/surpass Company quality and safety policy while performing his job to maintain KPIs.
  • Responsibility for workbench, tools, and equipment given.
  • Where appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of the general store of the company.

Related Work Experience and Qualification

  • At least 1 year’s experience (professional or informal) in repairing all sorts of smartphones is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong interest in technology.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience in game console repair – Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch.
  • Proven track record in identifying change and shaping operations.
  • A diploma in a relevant field will also be acceptable.
