iRecruit4 are seeking a skilled and reliable Teletruck operator to join our clients team at a waste recycling center. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a teletruck to move, lift, and transport bails and materials such as Plastic, Paper and Cardboard on a waste recycling site in an industrial environment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while ensuring safety protocols are followed. This role is not for the faint hearted and requires someone to work in all weather conditions and with a Teletruck ticket in date. Location:Outskirts of Andover Job Role:Teletruck Forklift Salary:£30,000 per year to increase to £32,000 after probation Hours:Shift patterns of either 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Responsibilities Operate the teletruck to lift and transport materials to designated areas. Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in safe working condition. Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries and other vehicles. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material handling tasks. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Report any mechanical issues or concerns regarding equipment performance promptly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with machinery. Experience operating a Teletruck Experience in commercial driving is advantageous, particularly with heavy machinery. Familiarity with digging operations is a plus, enhancing versatility on site. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all tasks performed.
