iRecruit4 are currently seeking a Production Engineer for our client based in Malmesbury. This role offers fantastic rates of pay, great hours and permanent contracts!
Benefits of the Production Engineer:

- 08.00 Starts, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to precise dimensions using hand tools, power tools, and machines such as shears, brakes, and presses
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components and products according to design specifications
- Install fabricated products such as ductwork, roofing, siding, and ventilation systems
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Conduct repairs or modifications to sheet metal products as needed
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to coordinate project tasks effectively
- Keep accurate records of materials used, hours worked, and tasks completed
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to sheet metal work
Additional Information for the Production Engineer:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar role within production
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
