iRecruit4 are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join our clients delivery operation based in Swindon. This role offers consistent Monday to Friday work and part-time shifts available. The position involves multi-drop deliveries across the South West, so drivers must be confident with manual handling and customer interaction.
Duties for Class 2 (Cat C) Driver:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to trade customers and construction sites across Swindon and surrounding areas
- Driving curtain-sided vehicles and correctly strapping down loads to ensure safety
- Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with legal and company standards
- Completing delivery paperwork and POD documentation accurately
- Providing professional and courteous customer service on delivery
- Ensuring loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations
- Supporting safe unloading of materials where required
Requirements for Class 2 (Cat C) Driver:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience
- Over 25 years old (insurance purposes)
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN convictions)
- Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles and strapping down loads safely
- Good communication and time management skills
Hours, Pay & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday, start time flexible between 05:00 - 07:00
- £15.00 per hour (PAYE) or £16.80 per hour (holiday pay rolled up)
