Job Duties of the Counterbalance Forklift Driver:
- Loading and unloading containers safely and efficiently.
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck.
- Working both inside and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Transporting goods between containers, yard, and warehouse locations.
- Accurately placing items into designated storage areas.
- Assisting with stock movement and organisation across the site.
- Carrying out daily pre-use checks on the forklift and reporting any faults.
- Ensuring all loads are secure, stable, and handled with care.
- Working to schedules and instructions to meet daily operational targets.
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail when handling goods.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
Additional Information for the Counterbalance Forklift Driver:
- Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday.
- 22:00 - Finish. Finish time between 06:00 - 09:00 due to nature of the role.
- Must hold a valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
- Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
