Duties of the CAD Engineer: Programming 5 axis CNC machines using hyperMILL CAD/CAM software Setting and operating CNC machines Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Selecting appropriate tooling and machining strategies Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks Troubleshooting machining issues and optimising cycle times Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area Requirements of the CAD Engineer: Previous experience in a CAD/CAM programming role Strong CNC setting and operating experience The ability to read and understand technical drawings Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials Good attention to detail and commitment to quality The ability to work independently and as part of a small team A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude Additional Information of the CAD Engineer: Monday to Friday.
