iRecruit4 are seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Executive to join our clients expanding team within the care and healthcare advisory sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, relationship-focused individual who is passionate about the care industry and enjoys promoting services and bringing on new business within the sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, developing new opportunities, and building strong, long-term relationships across the care industry. You will be responsible for promoting the company’s care advisory and support services, while helping to expand its client base. This is a field-based role involving regular client visits, networking events, and engagement within local health and social care communities. The role is target-driven, with a strong commission structure and mileage allowance provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities within the care and healthcare sector through networking, referrals, and relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, social workers, GPs, care coordinators, discharge teams, and healthcare professionals.
  • Promote the company’s care advisory services and wider support offerings to key stakeholders.
  • Attend networking events, healthcare forums, and community meetings, representing the organisation professionally.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients and key decision-makers in health and social care.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client enquiries, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of care sector opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, business development activity, and CRM updates.
  • Work closely with internal care and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales and growth targets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience (essential).
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, account management, recruitment, or relationship management, ideally within the care, healthcare, or social care sector.
  • Strong understanding of the care industry and key stakeholders within health and social care systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build trust and long-term professional relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
  • Willingness to travel regularly for meetings and networking.
Pay and Benefits:
  • Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum.
  • 7% commission structure on new business generated.
