iRecruit4 are seeking a hardworking and reliable Yard Operatives/Cleaners to join our team at a busy recycling plant. This role is physically demanding, requiring individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in all weather conditions. You will play a vital role in the recycling process, helping to ensure the smooth running of operations on-site. This role is not for the faint-hearted and you will be working with Plastics, Paper and Cardboard.
Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour.
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Sorting and processing recyclable materials efficiently and safely.
- Loading and unloading dirty materials onto bailers.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order within the yard.
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the site.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to handle manual labour for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures (training will be provided).
