iRecruit4 are seeking a reliable Recycling Operative to join a busy, environmentally focused recycling company based in Royal Wootton Bassett.
This is a hands on, physical role combining driving and yard based recycling work. You will be responsible for collecting recyclable cardboard from commercial clients and assisting with the processing of materials back at the yard. This is not a parcel delivery role.
Key Responsibilities forRecycling Operative:
- Driving a company vehicle to collect cardboard recycling from commercial customers
- Completing daily collections and returning to the Royal Wootton Bassett site
- Sorting, baling, and wrapping recyclable materials
- Assisting with general yard duties and operating machinery (training provided)
- Working as part of a small, friendly team to meet daily targets
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at all times
- Following health & safety procedures and company policies
RequirementsforRecycling Operative:
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Happy to carry out both driving and physical, hands-on work
- Previous recycling or warehouse experience advantageous but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
- Professional attitude and good timekeeping
Pay & HoursforRecycling Operative:
- Pay: £13.00 per hour PAYE
- £14.50 per hour with holiday pay rolled up
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 16:00
- No weekend work
- Location: Royal Wootton Bassett
- Long-term opportunity for the right candidate
