iRecruit4 are hiring for Production Operatives to join our client, an award winning manufacturer based in Calne. These positions offer fantastic benefits, great pay rates and potential temporary to permanent positions, following on from a successful completion of a trial period.

Job Duties for the Production Operative:
- Ability to maintain the required run speed of the production line, by keeping a constant supply of products fed into the machines.
- Maintain a constant supply of products for the production lines.
- After training is provided, you will be required to calibrate machines on a weekly basis and maintain company records as required.
- Monitoring visually with a UV lamp to inspect products at the end of the production line.
- Reporting any failings immediately to the Shift Coordinator.
- Reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Supply the line with the correct size & reference number products as per the production schedule.
- Learn how to record all necessary data on Production Run Sheet, Process Condition Sheet and Daily Log.
- Start and Shut down Machinery following the daily worksheet supplied by planning department.
Additional Information for the Production Operatives:
- 42 Hours week.
- 3 day on, 3 day off rotation.
- 06.00 - 18.00
- £13.68 per hour.
Previous experience and skills of the Production Operative:
- Previous experience in packing or production role with a keen learning ability.
- Previous experience in production facility, ideally with responsibility for machinery and tooling.
- To be able to make decisions within set parameters to own, manage, and resolve problems.
- Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with systems and PC based programs, including Microsoft applications.
