Job Description iRecruit4 are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our clients a well-established transport and logistics company based in Swindon. \n Have you previously worked at B&Q, Amazon, Howard Tenens or similar sites? If so, we'd love to hear from you. \n Days, nights, full-time and part-time opportunities available. Newly passed drivers welcome . Hours, Pay & Benefits for HGV Class 1 Drivers: \n \n Up to £173 per shift \n Minimum 8 hours paid per shift \n Typical shifts are 9–10 hours \n Day and night shifts available \n Full-time and part-time opportunities available \n Ongoing work \n Newly passed HGV Class 1 drivers welcome \n Immediate assessments available \n Weekend availability particularly in demand \n Drivers who provide their weekly availability will be offered work wherever possible \n Key duties for HGV Class 1 Drivers include: \n \n Completing vehicle safety checks and following planned routes \n Deliveries and collections, including reversing onto loading bays \n Trailer swaps, drops and collection of pre-loaded trailers \n Opening and closing curtains and securing loads \n Occasional side-loading with curtain-sided trailers \n Completing delivery paperwork \n Using smartphone-based driver apps \n Following company procedures, health and safety requirements and drivers' hours regulations \n No regular handball is involved \n General haulage, trailer work and store deliveries \n Requirements for HGV Class 1 Drivers: \n \n Valid HGV Class 1 licence \n Newly passed drivers welcome \n Valid CPC \n Valid Digital Tachograph Card \n Good knowledge of UK roads \n Reliable and punctual \n Professional attitude \n Good communication skills \n Comfortable using smartphone apps \n Weekend availability highly desirable \n Good understanding of driver hours and road safety \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
